About Sermorelin

Sermorelin consists of the first 29 amino acids of human growth hormone-releasing hormone, amidated at the C-terminus. This fragment retains the full receptor activity of the 44-amino-acid native hormone and is the parent sequence from which CJC-1295 and other GHRH(1-29) analogues were derived.

Unlike those analogues, sermorelin carries no stabilizing substitutions, so it is rapidly broken down by DPP-4 and other peptidases.

Research context

Sermorelin is used in research on GHRH-receptor activation and growth hormone secretion, and as the unmodified reference sequence against which stabilized GHRH analogues such as CJC-1295 and tesamorelin are compared.

What to confirm for Sermorelin

Check these points with our team before you order:

  • Which listing you need: the supplier offers Sermorelin and Sermorelin Acetate as separate products with different codes.
  • The salt form and net peptide content stated on the lot documents for each.
  • The number of boxes you need and the US delivery destination.
  • Which lot documents you require before ordering, such as an identity or purity report.

Sermorelin: frequently asked questions

Why are Sermorelin and Sermorelin Acetate listed separately?

The supplier lists them as two products with separate codes. Peptides such as sermorelin are commonly supplied as acetate salts, and the two listings may differ in salt form or source. Compare the lot documents to confirm the difference for the current lots.

How is sermorelin related to CJC-1295?

CJC-1295 is sermorelin's 29-amino-acid sequence with four stabilizing substitutions, plus an albumin-binding DAC in one of its two forms.

Which Sermorelin presentations are listed?

4 presentations are listed: 5 mg (SMO5), 5 mg (SML5), 10 mg (SMO10), 10 mg (SML10). Each is packed 10 vials per box, and every presentation has its own specification page and product code.

How do I request a quote for Sermorelin?

Open the presentation you need and use Ask price to message PureForm Biosciences on WhatsApp, or add several materials to the inquiry cart and send them together. Pricing, current availability and lot documents are confirmed in that conversation.

Research Use Only. Sermorelin is supplied strictly for laboratory research. It is not a drug, supplement or medical product and is not for human or veterinary consumption.
